FH1-nx installer

Makes the FH1-nx package from your own copy of Forza Horizon. Everything runs in this browser: your game files never get uploaded anywhere.

Your game

You need the USA retail disc (MS-2505), as an ISO or as the extracted folder with default.xex and media.

Update only (new program and shaders, no game files: for an install that already has game_root)

Then

Extract the zip into sdmc:/switch/. You should end up with:

/switch/fh1-nx/
  fh1nx.nro
  deko3d_glsl.bin       (shaders, made from your disc)
  fh1_shaders.nfsspv    (shaders, made from your disc)
  game_root/            (your game files)

Start it with a title override (hold R while launching a game) or a forwarder set to a 39-bit address space. Album/applet mode doesn't have enough memory. fh1nx.toml (settings) gets written on the first start.

Making the shaders takes a few minutes, then the game files are copied into the zip (about 7 GB). Keep this tab open until the download finishes. Works best in Chrome or Edge on a computer.
